Abstract(摘要):
I will present recent nuclear structure studies in the framework of the Interacting Boson Model (IBM). In particular, I would like to focus on a method of deriving the Hamiltonian of the IBM from nuclear DFT, that has been developed for the past decade. In this framework, the constrained self-consistent mean-field calculation with a choice of energy density functional is performed to provide microscopic input to determine the parameters of the IBM Hamiltonian for nuclear spectroscopy. Since the underlying DFT calculation provides a universal mean-field description of ground-state properties from stable nuclei to the frontiers of nuclear existence, it has become possible to derive from the level of nucleonic degrees of freedom the IBM Hamiltonian in general cases, i.e., for nuclei with arbitrary shapes/deformations. Unlike the conventional (phenomenological) IBM calculations, we have attained a capability of predicting spectroscopic properties of thus far unknown nuclei. I will illustrate the method and highlight its recent applications to the descriptions of octupole deformed nuclei, phenomena of shape coexistence, and those nuclei with odd number(s) of nucleons.
